EXPANDS AT WESTLAKE PARK

LOS ANGELES — Summit Financial
Consultants has renewed and expand-
ed its presence at Westlake Park Place
in the Westlake Village submarket of
Los Angeles. The wealth management
firm has leased 6,090 square feet at the
final building that was constructed at
Westlake Park Place.
The new space is located at 3075
Townsgate Road. Summit took occu-
pancy of the space on April 1.
Mike Foxworthy of DAUM Com-
mercial represented Summit Finan-
cial. The landlord, Westlake Plaza
Center East — II, LLC was represent-
ed by Craig Cahow and Mike Foxwor-
thy of DAUM Commercial.
W DESIGNED DEVELOPMENTS
ACQUIRES SENIORS HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT SITE
FOR $1 MILLION
VISTA, CALIF. — W Designed Devel-
opments has acquired a 2.6-acre plot
in Southern California, with plans to
develop a seniors housing community
on the site.
Irwin Dubinksy Living Trust and
Kissinger Family Trust sold the prop-
erty for $1 million. Al Apuzzo and
Matt Weaver of Lee & Associates —
North San Diego County represented
the sellers while Weston Harmer rep-
resented the buyer.
The site is in Vista, located between
San Diego and Los Angeles. Details on
the proposed seniors housing facility
were not released.
WEST ELM TO OPEN
LOCATION AT THE CEDROS
AVENUE DESIGN DISTRICT
IN SAN DIEGO
SAN DIEGO — West Elm will be
opening a store in the Cedros Avenue
Design District in San Diego this fall.
West Elm, a member of Williams–
Sonoma portfolio of brands, will
be the anchor retailer located at 212
South Cedros Ave., a soon-to-be-reno-
vated street front retail project.
West Elm will occupy nearly 11,000
square feet, with additional available
retail spaces totaling 5,575 square feet.
This will be West Elm's second store
in San Diego. West Elm's first San Di-
ego location is in Westfield's Mission
Valley Center EaStreet
CBRE's Dave Hagglund and Robert
Gunness represented the owner of the
property, Brixton Capital, and CBRE's
Carrie Bobb and Scott Muller repre-
sented the tenant, West Elm.
KARMA AUTOMOTIVE BUYS
FORMER KAWASAKI USA
HEADQUARTERS IN IRVINE
FOR $56.2 MILLION
IRVINE, CALIF. — Karma Automotive
has purchased the 262,463-square-foot
Kawasaki USA headquarters in Irvine
for $56.2 million. The facility is locat-
ed at 9950 Jeronimo Road.
The luxury hybrid plug-in vehicle
manufacturer had previously leased
the facility in August 2016. The com-
pany plans to add a Branded Experi-
ence Center for its new Revero luxury
sedan and ample employee amenities
to the facility.
Karma Automotive was represented
by Kevin Leonard of Heathwest Real-
ty. CBRE's Gregg Haly and Jeff Carr
represented the seller, Bixby Land
Company, in this transaction.
META HOUSING CORP.
COMPLETES $21.6 MILLION
MULTIFAMILY COMMUNITY
LOS ANGELES — Meta Housing
Corp. has completed 5400 Hollywood
Family Apartments, a 40-unit apart-
ment community in East Hollywood,
for $21.6 million. The five-story apart-
ment community aims to provide af-
fordable housing options for families
throughout Los Angeles, and also in-
cludes 3,485 square feet of retail space.
5400 Hollywood Family Apart-
ments will include a landscaped roof-
top deck with barbecue and children's
play areas, as well as a clubhouse and
computer room.
The apartment community is lo-
cated at 1655 N. Serrano Ave. and in-
cludes one-, two- and three-bedroom
floor plans.
QUANTUM CAPITAL
PARTNERS SECURES
$33.5 MILLION TO BUILD
NEW DAVITA FACILITY
LOS ANGELES — Quantum Capital
Partners has secured $33.5 million in
permanent and construction financing
for the construction of a 60,000-square-
foot medical office building and park-
ing structure in Downtown Los Ange-
les. The new space will be leased by
DaVita Healthcare Partners.
The facility is being built on a 2.9-acre
site at 1120 West Washington Blvd.,
near the US 10 and CA 110 interchange.
Financing was secured on behalf
of Robhana Group, which acquired
the development site in 2012. The fi-
nancing solution also included a per-
manent loan, which was secured by
the fully occupied 50,000-square-foot
building that sits adjacent to the new
development.
