Some of SLIG's projects include the Dream @ Tamarind South, which will contain 32 units available for lease this October, the Reality @ Tamarind North, a 21-unit complex that will be available in June 2019 and La Mirada @ Central Park, a 13-unit project with a mix of affordable and market-rate housing that will be available in De- cember 2019. The firm sold Carlton @ Hollywood, a 10-unit rehab project on Carlton Way in 2017 for $3.8 million with an estimated ROI of 39 percent. Barton Estates @ Central Park, SLIG's eight-home project on Barton Way, is estimated to produce a nearly 42 per- cent ROI within three years and four months of completion, the company believes. Like many Hollywood-area devel- opers, SLIG may be looking to cash in on the City of Dreams, but that doesn't mean it's looking to exit stage right. Af- ter all, with its long legacy and prom- ises of opportunity, these multifamily developers may be dreaming, but they certainly have their eyes wide open. "Growing up in Los Angeles, I spent much time in Hollywood," says Abraham Mehrian, SLIG's presi- dent and co-founder. "When I reflect back on what Hollywood was while witnessing the dramatic change that is occurring in Hollywood now, it gives me a great feeling of fulfillment to contribute to that change. It was that desire to be part of Hollywood's evolution that led us to invest here, especially with the ever-growing job market."
